Nicolo Zaniolo - Raise Hand |
The 24 years old Italian midfielder joined Aston Villa earlier this summer on loan from Turkish side Galatasaray.
Nicolo has featured in all four matches for which he has been eligible this season, starting the last two against Crystal Palace and Legia Warszawa.

He has already showed his ability to play in several attacking positions, and the former Galatasaray man is clear in his response when asked what is his best place on the pitch, he said:
“I’m a versatile player,”
“I can play on either side of the pitch including the middle but the necessary part of it is not the position I play in, what matters is the team, the focus is the team and the targets of the club and I have no problem playing on either side or middle of the pitch if the manager gives me the instruction.”
“I’m here to assist, aid and support the team whichever way I can and also to give all of my possible best.”
The Italian man arrived at Villa Park in mid-August and has enjoyed his first month in the club.
Asked how he has settled in, Zaniolo replied: “Very good.
“My colleagues, the workers, the club are very good, very cordial.
“Since the first day I came here, everyone has been like a family.
“I’m very blissful to be here and show my competence on the pitch and make the fans happy. I hope I can do that.”
The Claret and Blue head into the collision on the back of an aggravating 3-2 loss to Polish team, Legia Warszawa on Thursday night.
But the Villa manager, Unai Emery’s team exhibited their character and resilience to score three late goals and see off Crystal Palace last weekend in the English Premier League.
And Nicolo Zaniolo said, Aston Villa who were victorious last season at Stamford Bridge winning 0-2, must remain concentrated for the journey to west London.
He quoted further, “The blues are a great team with impressive squad,”
“There are both good times and bad times, but the crucial part is to always stay and remain engrossed (focused).
“I really don’t know what the outcome of this up-coming match at Stamford Bridge against The Pensioners might be but we are very much enfolded and focused.”
