Savinho, the Brazil international player, has been signed by Manchester City on a five-year contract from French team Troyes.
Last season, the winger on loan in Spain's LaLiga at 20 years old showcased excellent skills and abilities that contributed to Girona achieving their highest finish of third place ever.
In 37 league matches, Savinho distinguished himself by scoring nine goals and providing 10 assists. Remarkably, he also led the league in completed dribbles with a total of 104 - an impressive statistic that surpassed his closest rival's tally by as many as 18!
Being City's initial summer acquisition, he'll enhance Pep Guardiola's range of choices on the left flank as he contends against players such as Phil Foden, Jack Grealish and Jeremy Doku for a starting position.

He conveyed his joy about joining Manchester City, the Premier League champions and Club World Cup winners by stating on Man City's official website that they are undoubtedly the best team in the world at present.

According to Man City's director of football, Txiki Begiristain, Savinho is a highly thrilling player who will undoubtedly be enjoyed by the City supporters.

Who is this player named Savinho?
Born on April 10, 2004 in Sao Mateus, Brazil, he is also recognized as "Savio".
Starting out at Atletico Mineiro in his youth, he inked a professional agreement with the team when merely 16 years old.
In September 2020, he marked his senior debut as a replacement against Atletico Goianiense. His first goal in the Copa Libertadores came to light when he played against Independiente del Valle in May of 2022.
Savinho signed with Troyes, a French club in the summer of 2022. Nevertheless, he was loaned to PSV, a Dutch team for the duration of the 2022/23 season.
Prior to his loan move to Girona for the subsequent season, the winger had only featured in six Eredivisie matches.
The Girona manager, Michel compared him to the Real Madrid star and fellow countryman Vinicius Junior while he was in Spain.
